Three Volumes later tree calf with red spine labels gilt marbled boards (tips slightly rubbed) 316pp 308pp 304pp some uneven foxing and two leaves where something laid in has left its outline area browned. A few plates offset onto text page opposite still a very neat copy of this favored Smollet translation with plates after Smirke's paintings.
