Illustrations Hand-coloured plates (36 + colour illuminated Titlepage) heightened with gold & silver of miniatures selected by H. Noel Humphreys.
Description Royal 8vo calf-spined green damasced cloth sides with gilt morocco label (cloth worn & faded/tips with exposed boards and some fraying). A descriptive page precedes each plate. Plates on thick paper in bright condition and in BRILLIANT COLOUR with much gilding. The extra illuminated titlepage and the next 2 leaves have a small semicircular brown mark to the lower corner (max.1cm) a few small signs of use to margins but all the illustrations are bright unmarked, no tears, no writing, no colour smudging but stunningly fine.
