Description Duodecimo contemporary roan (covers marked, hinge split 2" from head and foot, lower cover split but held by cords, edges worn & triangle of leather missing). Leaf before title lacking, title leaf + [3]-vii Address to public +[1]p blank +144pp +4pp publisher's list. One page with printers fault where paper had a fold when printed and bound in so that one line is partly obscured by the fold - an earlier reader tore the paper to read the text. The conjoint to E4 is E9 and here the crease is shallower and the text is readable and page untorn. An early and scarce first edition.
