Uncut crisp copy, religious library blindstamp (with neat number 75J) to Title & some pages, a few neat pencil marginalia. *First published in 1635 in the lifetime of the author, prior of a Bendictine Monastery, who wrote it to demonstrate Christ's example through the infant Jesus or Divine Love guiding the reader through the Stations of the Cross shown in these beautifully engraved emblem plates (Landwehr 75a 187, Praz 361).
