Duodecimo 157x94mm half tan roan gilt ruled on 4 raised bands (hinges cracked but covers still secure/edges worn/rubbed) iv, 9-332pp. This volume deals with birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles and insects. Peter Stockham's copy with his book plate and notes to front end paper + earlier book plate of Rev. J. Surtees. Three leaves with old ink comments and some off-setting of woodcuts onto facing text page but neat and tight (HUGO 283).
