Description Quarto original calf on boards, spine on 4 cords gilt titled on newer leather skilfully restored with corners underlaid, xxx (inc. titlepage & to reader) +512pp (inc. short booklist at end). A wide-margined crisp copy with side notes and with Hebrew and some Greek interpolations, each of the 11 sections has a separate half title leaf. *John Smith (1618-1652) was a theologian termed one of the "Cambridge Platonists" (WING S4118).
