Description
Octavo green cloth, gilt floral illustration on cover within gilt lines, spine gilt lettered (tips worn, spine underlaid/recased, cloth slightly bubbled). Half title + titlepage + dedication leaf +vii-xii +349pp +publisher's advert leaf. Glazed endpapers with some repairs. Inscription and second name on back of half title. Minor foxing and some marks where flowers seem to have been pressed between text pages. *Shortly after this edition George Bell took over the publishing rights and the plates were redone in color printing, no longer hand colored. A nice tight copy.
