Description	160x100mm green gilt & blindstamped cloth on bevelled boards (some marks & a wrinkle, gilt rubbed). All Edges Gilt 471pp. Two corners damp-marked and a few other signs of use with possibly newer endpapers but no torn pages, no writing in the book and pages tight and neat (Osborne 1023). *The first edition was published in 1860. An ill-treated orphan runs away and tries join a ship as a sailor but being rather short he is turned away so decides to stow away. After many adventures and near starvation he is discovered and allowed to remain.
