Description Octavo olive pictorial cloth (tips worn/spine lettering very rubbed/some wear but sound) 160pp illuminated presentation plate to Joyce Perkins by Roath Park Congregational Sunday School on pastedown. Some signs of use and endpaper's bit damp marked. *Girls' story of help and sacrifice. Falling in love with a man who was disinherited because he wished to become a parson the heroine thinks all will be well when the man's father relents during his last illness & rewrites the will. But the will is lost seeemingly putting marriage out of reach for many years. Faith and steadfast love are rewarded eventually. A scarce authoress with only two titles known.
