16mo blue cloth gilt spine with flowers in an urn and a dog holding a ring with a banner titled "Minnie and her Pet Cat" covers blindstamped to corners (3mm loss to head and foot of spine, corners a little worn). Printed titlepage + dedication leaf + Mrs. Leslie's Juvenile Series for boys Vol.1-IV [&] for Girls Vol.1-IV. Next leaf listing Minnie and her Pets "Parrot, Cat, Dog, Horse, Lamb, Monkey" +[9]-144p with a plate of puss ringing for her dinner facing page 82. Front free endpaper inscription "Annie Sinllivan from Maude Bann Aug. 1875" and with $35 to top margin and with a corner cut off. The contents are generally clean and good but about 10 leaves have some foxing or light browning.
