Description	Folio 325x210mm red cloth-spined pictorial coloured front cover (old reback, boards worn at edges with some damage to edge of picture, lower cover plain grey bit marked). Frontis + 62pp inc. titlepage + Preface + explanations for each plate. Plate 27 has repaired tears without loss, some other marginal tears but none touch pictures. Outer half of Plate 1 has loss to part of eel and most of shark (facsimile laid in). This page and next have been loose so more marked than the rest, Plates 3 & 4 misbound in the bird section, but otherwise a neat clean copy of a beautiful natural history book.
