Quarto contemporary calf on 5 raised bands spine gilt and with spine label (top cover nearly detached/lacks top and part of bottom spine compartment/tips worn) Engraved titlepage + Printed titlepage with large woodcut printer's mark +[4]pp dedication +[8]pp to the reader + 371pp +[1]p errata +[11]pp index + blank. One small worm hole to 3 leaves but only in the margin not affecting any print, otherwise clean crisp copy. *Lustration, atonement and purification rites such as ceremonial washing, sacrifices & other customs of worship of ancient peoples. Text in Latin with quotations and examples in Greek and Hebrew.
