195x130mm paper cover which is also titlepage 16pp. Staples a bit rusty and slight tanning to paper. Page 16 is the last page of text but also the back cover. *"King Edward the Seventh, who, if all goes well, is to be crowned as King on Thursday, the 26th of June, will have on that day well-nigh four hundred millions of men as his subjects - not far short of one-fourth of the world's population .." - so this begins, but in fact the coronation was postponed to 9 August 1902 because Edward VII had to have one of the first successful operations for appendicitis. Step-by-step explanation of the regalia, its uses, the meaning and also the music with composer/lyrics given. Photos to cover of King Edward & Queen Alexandra. Scarce.
