Duodecimo green blindstamped roan gilt lettered to the cover (spine sl.damaged at head & foot but hinges holding securely over 90% of their length) 160pp of 162pp (last leaf lacking). A charming little French lesson book for children with nice illustrations. A few signs of use and first 3 gatherings a bit loose and proud to fore-edge. Lacks last leaf at the end. Both front and rear endpapers are neatlyblue-printed book lists of popular educational works. Name C[ecilia] W. Smith Bosanquet [only daughter of G.J. Bosanquet of Broxbournebury] to top margin of titlepage. *Dedicated to "My dear little Girl" by "Affectionate Mother".
