The fame of his medical skill and infirmary practice caused Battista Merlo of Verona to edit dal Bosco's extensive notes, recording more than 100 case "observations" over many years. This is the first edition, published by Merlo himself at Verona in 1664, immediately followed by other publications elsewhere.
