Description Octavo polished leather gilt to edge and spine (tips worn, small splits to spine but entirely sound) All Edges Marbled to match endpapers. Nice bookplate to pastedown of J. Johnston Abraham, small other bookplate removed with minor paper loss. Half title + Title +[12]pp prelims +363pp. Some neat pencil notes throughout and isolated pale foxing to beginning and end. A neat tight copy of the Stanhope translation.
