Duodecimo 18th century calf gilt spine rules with red label (old repair to head of spine/top board only held by cord/tips worn, head & foot of spine chipped & rubbed). Titlepage verso has Imprimatur dated 1663 +[2pp dedication] +328pp +[3pp index] +[1p blank] +half title for TABLE of COLOURS +[8pp preliminaries partly in Latin] +40pp. Frontis & M11 in facsimile and neat repair to index tear (no loss) and last leaf torn across (again no loss). Generally clean and neat but first few and last few pages have some foxing/browning but only heavy on last two leaves. Name Norris F. Davey to top margin of title. *Neat copy of this famous work by the Lord High-Chancellor of England (Wing B284).
