Description
Small octavo blindstamped pig on 4 raised bands with named figural rolls of saint (some scratches and lower cover has an original leather repair to a hole in the origianl skin - the rolls go across the leather and the patch without interruption thus this was done at the time of binding). All edges Blue. Titlepage with page 1 to verso, 273pp (recte 243 as numbers skip from 160 to 191) Greek and Latin parallel text. Student's notes on fly leaf, name inscribed on front and rear endpapers (Stolle also Henricus Lindenman), titlepage with names crossed out including one dated 1620. Old annotations to 11 pages including one marginal ink smudge that has offset to opposite page. Otherwise entirely unfoxed, without any damp marking or fingering the paper being white crisp in a nice pigskin over wood binding with figure blind-pressed decoration.
