141x103mm original blue blindstamped cloth with gilt pictorial and decorative lettering (tips worn/1cm damage to head of spine/slightlymarked & rubbed but still pretty and sound). All Edges Gilt. Half Title +hand colored folding frontispiece + hand colored pictorial titlepage + printed titlepage +(v)-xvi +80pp +Card with red numbers to be cut out (here uncut/unused). Folds strengthened at back of frontispiece else a nice tight clean copy rarely found complete. *There are 80 questions mostly on love and marriage but also "When will old age begin with me?", "What is my principal defect?" etc Then follows the table of answers and finally 80 pages each with 16 different possible answers. Bound in at the end, and meant to be cut into 16 tokens is the card sheet, still uncut, of the tokens numbered in large red numerals. A charming example of the sort of Victorian Parlour game that amused the young people of the era.
