Octavo laced through vellum with yapp fore-edge manuscript title to spine (3" split to one hinge/tips bit worn/marked]. Titlepage + verso =p2 (laudatory) poem by Stephanus +3-71p +696p +[86p=index] +errata. Ownership Jonas Hellwik + label donating the book to the Linkoping Library in memory of her husband by his widow Hedeviga Paleen. Also modern bookplate of Sigurd Persson-Unger. Repair to titlepage where ?shelf mark was cut out and replaced by "N.48" lacks part of 5 lines of Greek verse on back. A few neat underlingings throughout and neat manuscript additions to the printed side notes a few pages edge dusted and a few corners turned down but a neat tight clean copy of this important Greek history. *Latin edition of Herodotus’ History translated by Lorenzo Valla and Ctesias’ Life of Homer, translated by Konrad Heresbach.
