Titlepage +[2p=dedication to the Dauphin] +[11p=Preface] +[7p=contents] +{2p=Privilege] +312pp. Name at top margin of titlepage & a few leaves with small ink spots but no annotations or underlinings. Clean and tight collated and complete. *Terms and phrase book in Latin & French divided by subject, thus starting with the Astronomy and meteorology, Air and Fire, Animals, Plants & herbs, Geography, Man parts of the body, food, the soul, passions, crimes & punishments, Mathematics, Philosophy, musique, professions, games and sports etc. Interesting for what the young man of the century was expected to know with the state of the sciences of the time shown.
