Folio [in 8's 315x220mm newer vellum-spined boards, spine gilt titled (tips rubbed). Titlepage +[9 leaves] + 380 columns. Double columns per page with side notes and good wide margins.Name crossed out to titlepage which is sl.browned/dusty. Some tide marks of old water staining but paper supple and strong and one or two worm holes to hinge side just touching a few letters. *The most influential commentary on Aristotles's text, and although written from a Christian perspective it is still of importance today in clarifying a most difficult Aristotelian text read by philosophers and students of theology.
