Description	Octavo 20th century pigskin Gilt spine title and gilt title to cover (sturdy but not suitable to the age of the book) License leaf + TP + (12pp=to Reader + contents) +626pp A-Z8, Aa-Rr8, Ss4. Some foxing/ browning but less to the plates, paper still supple and neat. A few corners turned but tight and little used copy. Wellcome, Oxford and one of the two Cambridge copies lack some plates, only University College London & Cambridge 2nd copy have the correct, full 18 plates listed in their catalogue. *Based on the best knowledge of the time, Gibson was Physician General to the English army although trained in Leiden (WING 675).
