Folio 273x176mm contemporary sprinkled calf simple roll tooled on 5 raised bands (worn/hinges cracked so held by cords/some minor leather damage) TP +(3p) =Dedic. +(28p)=To reader (by E.B) +(11p)+ (19p) = Testimony of Howgil, Whitehead, Coale & George Fox. +896pp+(8p) +index. Many errors in paging and in numbering of signatures but catchwords correct. Prelims. in 4's pg1-360 in 2's pg362-end in 4's. Variable foxing mainly to margins but never causing the paper to lose strength or suppleness and never affecting legibility. Several nice inscriptions on end-paper and margin of dedication, one name on margin of titlepage. 3 marginal tears with loss but not affecting printed area, a few clean tears without loss but no annotations, underlining or worming. A clean tight copy of seemingly the only edition.
