Octavo contemporary vellum with early neat ink titling to spine (sl.soiled) 16p+159pp+(8p of index) neat but early 19th century inscription on FEP & different name crossed out on top of TP. *This work the Hexaemeron or Kosmourgia of Georgio of Pisida describing the world has facing pages of Greek and Latin text. It is entirely in verse. Also included are the long poem The Vanity of Life as well as some other fragments of the author's work. A lovely copy of a scarce book.
