Description	Octavo green blindstamped cloth with gilt spine & cover on bevelled boards (tips & fore-edge worn/small lacunae at hinge, entirely tight) All Edges Gilt 105pp + [1]pp decorated end page. A short list of Sacred rhymes at end of contents pages not here present nor in any of the Library listed copies or others seen. According to the list they should be on pp 105-108 but the poems on 105 are listed correctly in the contents pages as being on pp105 & 106 - a decorative page without text. *The first edition with a few less pages was issued in 1844 this 3rd edition is 1866 according to the careful catalogue held in the Victoria & Albert Museum. A beautifully illustrated Rhyme book in very clean condition.
