MINIATURE Book 62x58mm printed boards (spine lacks 15x9mm of paper at head and some at foot/spine paper creased/paper darkened/worn to edges) 96pgs name on FEP (Osborne Collection p169 only has later edition, cf. Moon 547(2) Bondy p63). *This was the second title to appear in this series - first was The Short History of the Bible. These miniature books were issued in boards priced 1s/6d as here & a roan edition at 2s/-. The boards are scarcer as they tended to split at the hinge and lose their covers. Although the spine has a few lacunae this is a decent cover. The 48 little engravings are charming.
