Titlepage has 2 wiped inkmarks and somewhat browned as are all prelims, but text pages are clear until last 5 leaves which have some browning. *This 1695 printing seems to be only one in English, it is scarce as only one copy in American Books Prices Current and no others currently for sale. It deales with the merits of History and Historians, truth is essential and faults must be avoided as narrative needs order and style.
