Octavo blindstamped rose cloth spine gilt titled (head of spine bit damaged 1cm vent to hinge & chipped to foot of spine corners bumped) x +342pp (half title & title counted within pagination, title printed red & black) tissue guards browned. Additions & corrections slip tipped in. Gift inscription to fly leaf. First and last two leaves slightly foxed else clean and crisp. Includes battles of Shrewsbury, Northampton, Tewkesbury, Bosworth, Stoke, Evesham also chapters on Firearms in 15th Century, Family pedigrees, and extracts from Acts of Attainder 1461, 1675 & 1685 and article on keeper of Royal Menagerie. Also wolves' extinction etc.
