Duodecimo Two Parts in One Volume. Contemporary covers with paper spine label (old reback now repaired again/corners of lower cover lacking leather). Half title leaf +Titlepage +plate to verso then pp.5-117 +[2]pp index +verso blank; Titlepage dated 1736 to LIBELLUS BENEDICTIOMUN ET EXORCISMORUM with Censor's permission dated 1709 on verso + pp.3-288pp +[4]pp index. Ownership stamp J.F. Wolff to flyleaf, library label with release stamp to pastedown, 2 library stamps to half title, minor signs of use and a bit dusty else neat & tight, no tears or underlining. *The part on Exorcism & Blessings covers exorcism of water, bread & other items of Catholic rituals then driving Satan out of the body and fumigating to drive out evil: houses, stables, chickens & dovecotes, fields, vineyards, infected milk have to be purified. Also deals with fire, ships, and then after excorsim the same must be blessed, including military armour, food etc. and finally Absolution. Scarce.
