In the Preface, the anonymous editor credits the Frankfurt printers Marnius and Aubrius for this project: "viri pij, de literis & literatis iam-pridem optime meriti, quum de Latinis Concordantiis excudendis suscepissent consilium, & nostram opellam ea in re petissent, hunc ordinem sequi visum est". He dates the Preface Nonis Februariis, anno primo seculi Millesimi sexcentesimi [1600] and cites six previous Concordances 1555-1584 on which this work is based. The printers Johann Aubry (d.1601) & Claude de Marne (d.1610) were sons-in-law of Andreas Wechel and his heirs in the business. Another copy of this book was owned by Francis Bacon (1561-1626) who recorded the price he paid, 13s 4d (Book Auction Records 1909).
