Illustrations: Steel engraved plates (51) including engraved titlepage with large vignette view, some by Hablot Browne ( Phiz) as listed only 34 listed but 51 present.

Narrow small quarto blue blindstamped and pictorially gilt cloth with spine extra gilt (1cm split to hinges at head and foot hinges) All Edges Gilt. Frontis +Engraved pictorial title + Printed title +Contents + 211pp. Lacks front free endpaper & has ownership stamp of St. Augustine's monastery to titlepage (slight offsetting to blank page facing) & to verso of final page which is blank except for stamp. Book plate of the Monastery to pastedown. Some pale foxing, mainly marginal else a bright tight crisp copy with very fine steel engravings.
