Neat name John Knott MD 1906 on free endpaper. Titlepages in red & black +[14]pp +239pp +[1]p blank and (2nd work) +[4]pp +288pp (blank before title present in Vol.1 but not required in Vol.2). Some corners dusty else a nice clean copy of two lesser known works bound together but from different publishers & different Flemish cities. Head- & tail-pieces & foliated initials, extensive editorial comments by Herman Venema, text in Latin with some Hebrew.
