Octavo contemporary calf bindinging on 5 raised bands with nicely tooled panelled covers in three shades of brown (hinges worn held by cords/leather loss to edges/tip/lacks 3/4 of spine label) (16pp incl.TP) +444pp+(11p incl.errata) *An interesting and complete list of the rectories and Churches throughout Gt. Britain and the relative wealth of their parishes. Ecton was employed in gathering these monies but in some cases subsidizing the poorer clergy who could not afford the taxes.
