Quarto half green morocco (tips worn/rubbed/combed marble sides very rubbed but still handsome) (4pp) of descriptive plate list in French and English parallel text. Book block loose in case. Very neat and clean. Shows examples from tapestries, Gold and Silversmith work, Stainglass, Ivory, frescoes, book of Hours, sculptures and clothing details. There was apparently a social History volume published 3 years earlier to which this was a later addition but published on its own. The plates are of very fine quality and color.
