Howard Christmas 1885 on back of fly leaf. A neat tight copy each chapter usually dealing with one metal, + Art of Alchemy, Coal Mines etc. *Rare. Beautifully illustrated with fine engravings throughout. First published 1861 under title The Playbook of Metals (Routledge, Warne, and Routledge).
