Volume II only of two, 12mo half leather spine extra gilt with 2 labels in black and marbled paper sides (ends of spine chipped and spine top half splitting but firm) 346pp + [2]pp index to both volumes. First few pages with marginal damp marks otherwise only the fore-edge of a few pages show staining. Minor foxing and a few corners creased else a neat crisp tight copy. *As it says, the plates are pretty. Gumuchian has others by Le Maire but not this title, which is rare, no copy noted in British libraries.
